Christophe Kerrero, Rector and President of the Foundation

Christophe Kerrero is an agrégé in modern literature, with a master’s degree in literature from the University of Paris X-Nanterre and a postgraduate diploma in modern literature from the University of Paris IV-Sorbonne, under the supervision of Marc Fumaroli (Académie française). He began his career as a literature teacher in 1991, becoming deputy headmaster of the Lycée Pasteur in Neuilly-sur-Seine (2002-2007), then deputy inspector of the Seine-et-Marne education authority (2007-2009). In 2009, he joined the office of the Minister for Education as technical adviser on urban issues, priority education and sustainable development. From 2010 to 2012 he was adviser to the Minister in charge of Educational Affairs and Equal Opportunities. In 2016, he became Director General in charge of secondary schools for the Île-de-France region, and in 2017, Director of the Private Office of the Minister for National Education and Youth.
