DoorDash really thought about its Valentine’s Day promo this year. Instead of going the classic route with something centered around a dinner for two, chocolate, or roses, it zeroed in on those still hurting from broken relationships and have the ink on themselves to prove it. The delivery service teamed up with a famous artist to fly people out to California to get existing tattoos of their ex-partner’s name turned into a food tattoo.

Tattoo/street artist Mister Cartoon (aka Mark Machado) helped alter the tattoo regrets. Machado has tattooed some of your favorite celebs like Kobe Bryant, Beyoncé, Eminem, and Travis Scott, to name a few. Having worked with companies like Nike and Vans, too, he has a lot of collab opportunities thrown his way. He chose this one because he could be creative and he uses DoorDash.

"With this I liked that Valentine's Day was involved and the idea of covering up exes names," he told Forbes: "I could talk about that cause I had funny stories about that, it affects a lot of people and no one talks about it because they were so in love and they got crazy."

Essentially, anyone with an ex's name on their body had to post a photo of their tattoo on Twitter and say what food they wanted it replaced with and why. Three lucky/heartbroken winners were chosen. The tattoo transformations involved pizza and sushi, breakfast foods, and a bowl of Hungarian Cherry soup for a woman whose Hungarian ex left her to go back to Hungary, Forbes reported.

If you're out there still wandering around with the name of an ex tattooed on you, you might want to consider food as cover-up. Lovers come and go, but food is forever!
