Kaley Cuoco has been reminiscing about The Big Bang Theory, as we mark three years since the final episode aired.
Appearing on The Late Late Show with James Corden, Cuoco got emotional she talked about how her father Gary turned up to be part of the live audience for the filming of every single episode of the comedy. That's a whopping 279 episodes, by the way.
"He had a director's chair with his name on it," she said. "He never sat in it. He always stood. And every night for curtain and bows and for intros, he would be at the top and he would give me a thumbs up."

As Kaley went on to explain that all the cast and crew would return her dad's thumbs up, she added that the audience soon caught on and started to join in too.
"The whole audience ended up doing it," she added. "It was like a weekly thing. It was just very special for all of us."
She continued: "My Dad still misses our live tapings at Big Bang. I couldn't do a show without him at that point, it had been years. I kept thinking, 'You can't miss one now you are part of the show.'"

Recently, Cuoco opened up about how she went for a role in Rian Johnson's Knives Out sequel but didn't manage to bag it.
"I was so convinced that my bags were packed for Greece. And then I didn't get it. I was so devastated. And I’m not [normally] devastated over roles," she said.
"I had done chemistry reads, I had done Zooms. And I didn't get it. I cried and I cried all night long. And it went to Kate [Hudson], who's great. And the next day I got a call about Meet Cute.
"They were like, 'We have an interesting script.' And I said, 'I don’t want to read anything. I suck. No one wants me.' They said, 'You’ve got to read this.' And Pete [Davidson] was already attached, and I'm like, 'Okay, I’ll read it.'
"And when I did, I said, 'This is the most magical little script.' And I would've never gotten it if I [got] Knives."
The Big Bang Theory aired on CBS in the US. You can buy the complete boxset now on DVD and Blu-ray.
