My first Eduard kit but certainly not my last. I'm a huge Tamiya fan but this is one awesome kit. Very well engineered and all the aftermarket parts are already there. Plenty of good information in the instructions which are top shelf.

Gem of a model kit!
Excellent fit and well detailed. Excellent Cartograph decals with several marking options. Masks, photo etch and resin wheels are a welcome addition. Best kit of the subject in this scale. Highly recommended.

Frustrating
On the good side, this model is super detailed, and gives you some options while building. I had high hopes, but they were soon dashed. The fuselage didn't fit together well, and needed several clamps. Not even clamps and glue could hold it together; when the clamps came off, the fuselage split. The propeller shaft would never line up correctly. What stopped me in mid-build was the landing gear. The over complex assembly attaches (by pin) into a housing glued inside, before the wings are put together. One housing popped off during the process, and was left to rattle around inside the assembled wing. Inversely, there were no pins or tabs on the elevators, making it difficult to 'just glue' them on and have them stay in place.
