About this product

Product Information

The eighth edition of Public Administration: Understanding Management, Politics, and Law in the Public Sector grounds students in the fundamentals of public administration while embracing its complexity. It describes, explains, and analyses public administration through the lenses of three well-established perspectives: management, politics, and law. This edition retains its strong U.S. focus while broadening the discussion and themes in recognition of its adoption in about twenty countries abroad and to enhance its global utility as a "world text." Instructors and students can now access their course content through the Connect digital learning platform by purchasing either standalone Connect access or a bundle of print and Connect access. McGraw-Hill Connect(R) is a subscription-based learning service accessible online through your personal computer or tablet. Choose this option if your instructor will require Connect to be used in the course. Your subscription to Connect includes the following: - SmartBook(R) - an adaptive digital version of the course textbook that personalizes your reading experience based on how well you are learning the content. - Access to your instructor's homework assignments, quizzes, syllabus, notes, reminders, and other important files for the course. - Progress dashboards that quickly show how you are performing on your assignments and tips for improvement. - The option to purchase (for a small fee) a print version of the book. This binder-ready, loose-leaf version includes free shipping. Complete system requirements to use Connect can be found here: http: //www.mheducation.com/highered/platforms/connect/training-support-students.html

I contacted seller before I left neg. feedback to resolve this, but seller would not work with me. I paid 12.00 for expedited shipping, but seller sent book via media mail. When I informed seller and asked for a refund of the difference, seller said the 12.00 moved my order processing to the head of the line. I don't buy their explanation and this was a way to keep 8.00 or so at my expense. I will not be using this source again for books, which is their loss, since I need to buy many more.
