    Essentials of Sociology by James M. Henslin (2006)

    Essentials of Sociology by James M. Henslin (2006) is a textbook used widely in several colleges today as an introductory text. I purchased this book as a text as well. However, I found it interesting enough to read aside from my required reading. Concepts are fully explained and chapters are divided so the reader can better comprehend them with out having to flip through chapters for further reference. I would certainly recommend this text to any person looking to get a first hand insight on sociology as an intro.

    Good Text Book for an Intro to Sociology

    I am taking an intro to sociology course, and I needed to buy this book for the class. This was the exact book I needed and I was able to get it at a good price! I wanted to purchase a book that was slightly used because I do not like reading from books that have already been written on, and this book was perfect! I appreciated that it did not have many notes or underlining in it.

    Overall its a good introductory SOC book

    The is very informational. The author took most of the pictures that are in the book. Lots of details and examples to help you understand the topics.

    Very good investment- college books are expensive

    College books are very very expensive, this is my daughters first year in college and i sure can say making the decision to buy books off of ebay was a very good idea..

    Good book

    The book is easy to read, with definitions, pictures. Paperback, it's very to the point, not much philosophical. Gives you examples that applies now.
