If you're not looking for a mobile platform (aka Android or iOS devices) but a decent GPS with world GSM phone capability, then the nuvifone fits the bill. Pros: - More advanced navigation than Nuvi 350 - Excellent Phone-GPS integration (You can navigate to addresses on your Contacts, and you can call numbers in the POI database - super easy) - Very well thought out volume controls (separate levels when mounted on car, on built-in headset, on speakerphone, and on audio out, plus a mixer to control Music and Navigation volume levels) - Easily uses 3G and Wi-fi for browsing or email - Works as a USB drive, charges on USB too - Syncs contacts, calendar and notes with Outlook - One button access to Camera Cons: - Even if you can unlock the phone to use any SIM card, the Traffic and Weather ... The phone works GREAT! It has lots of memory and works as a fantastic "smarter" phone. It is not a 'true' smartphone, but, it does have the BEST GPS that I've seen, on a phone. This is perfect for someone who wants more capable navigating than AT&T Navigator. This GPS unit works where there is little to no AT&T 3G signal (AT&T Navigator, at least in my experience, needs good 3G signal to work properly). If you are looking for a phone that is better than a 'feature phone', but, not as sophisticated as the newer smartphones, get this.....The phone works GREAT! Garmin Nuvifone G60
The Garmin Nuvifone G60 has a good GPS with text to voice function. The performance is solid. However it lacks the gaming and video capability. It is a good phone for someone that's looking for a reliable GPS functional without the use of their data plan thus without the gaming and video capability.
