    OK ball so far, it plays well - only time will tell if a Chinese-made ball holds up.

    OK price from vendor - too highly priced from Spalding, especially since it is made in China! Do the NBA teams play with official balls made in China? Or does Spalding sell the Chinese-made civilian version of their official NBA ball to the public while reserving the USA-made ball for NBA play only? As consumers we are a captive audience. If we want the official Spalding NBA leather basketball, the only choice we have is to purchase a Chinese-made ball. Maybe the NBA needs to open up the market and allow Wilson and others to provide official NBA balls, as long as they are made of premium leather and are made in the USA.

    Best basketball in the world.

    While there is a prolonged break in process with this ball due to it being made of real leather, once broken in, this is by far the best basketball out there. Unlike other basketballs, when your hands get sweaty, the grip will actually improve due to the leather absorbing the moisture. Additionally, this ball has the most accurate and responsive bounce once broken in out of any other basketball once broken in. As a shooter, this ball is a dream. This ball is lighter than some of the more popular composite balls seen in gyms. The channel design is less deep which gives the ball more surface area and the leather material provides a perfect tackiness where the ball leaves my hands perfectly and quickly when shooting.
