🌿 PLEASE be aware of any inclement weather in your area during the estimated shipping dates before making your purchase to ensure that your plants arrive as healthy and happy as possible!
🌿 I only ship M-TH to avoid plants sitting in postal hubs over the weekends! The quicker the plant can get back to ideal conditions after being packaged up, the better!
🌿 These pots of Hoya Wayetii are extremely healthy and hardy, each with new growth points that have already activated and produced new growth, and/or nodes that are still forming a new growth point currently. They are potted in white square 3” pots with long fiber sphagnum moss and perlite. The moss has been treated with fertilizer, so the plants can actually remain in it as a long term substrate, which I do recommend upon arrival to avoid shock! I actually grow a lot of my Hoya mother plants permanently in the moss! I ship through Priority Mail 2-3 day, and only charge you $5.50, because I hate paying for expensive shipping whenever I buy something, so I don't want to do that to you! Please feel free to message me with any questions!
🌿 INFO & CARE 🌿
Keep moss damp but not completely saturated, Hoyas would rather be a bit dry than too wet. I would not suggest re-potting immediately. Although these roots are very healthy, I would wait until they get a bit more extensive in their new environment before re-potting, just to ensure success and to avoid environmental shock! Make sure to repot in a soil that is very aerated, as Hoyas are not big fans of dense soil! Personally, I use a medium/large grain orchid mix with just a bit of peat moss and charcoal tossed in to keep my Hoyas happy. Remember, these babies naturally grow up trees in the rainforest, so it's best to try and mimic that environment if you want your Hoyas to grow big and happy! Hoyas look beautiful hanging down, however they will form healthier and larger growth if they are given something to climb on such as a trellis or moss pole. They love + thrive in humidity and are pretty tolerant of temperature changes, in my experience. Hoyas love light! Make sure to put this baby somewhere where it gets full sun, especially since you're trying to expand its root system! This Hoya specifically does sun stress. I usually try and put my Hoya in the highest light situation possible, and the new growth is so fast growing and healthy! Your Hoya will most likely tell you if it wants less sun by exhibiting little brown or black spots on its leaves, so make sure to check for those periodically! Honestly, the key to keeping Hoya's happy is to just listen to them! All Hoya's are different, but this its just the information that I have based on personal experience and research! Generally, your most common issue is going to be over watering, so try not to water until it tells you it needs water when its leaves are a bit veiny, deflated, or wrinkly! Signs of overwatering include souring leaves and stems, yellow leaves, rotting leaves and stems, and leaf loss.
