This is a 10 lb Block of Abalone (Pleurotus cystidiosus) Mushroom Culture on a wood substrate. This Package also includes 1 plastic bag and instructions to grow the block on a countertop or somewhere where the environment is ideal, You can also use these blocks as spawn to create more bags of mushrooms or to layer straw or wood chip beds. You can also buy a special tool to make spawn plugs with this block. We have several blocks to choose from Each weighs 10lbs. All our blocks are a mix of Grain, Alfalfa and Wood locally sourced in Oregon. We work in a lab and create these products in a sterile environment. We ship everything free of charge and we pack it up nice so it survives the shipping process. This is a small business that was started because of a need for medicine and healthy food in which mushrooms are the key.
