Catherine A. Lemoine

Catherine A. (Pellin) Lemoine, 84, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2024. The daughter of the late Marziale and Ester (Pagno) Pellin, born on March 4, 1939 in Springfield MA.
She grew up in Springfield, graduating from Commerce High School, and lived in Chicopee and West Springfield. She worked as a Production Worker at Strathmore Paper CO for 20 years until her retirement in 2004. She was a communicant of St. Thomas Church, West Springfield.
She was a faithful, loving, and caring woman who will be missed dearly by all who knew her. She leaves her children Joseph Lemoine of Southwick MA, Laurie Gay and her husband Paul of Belchertown MA, and Lisa Fournier and her husband Gary of Agawam MA, her grandchildren Catherine Foxwell and her husband Jason, Elizabeth Holtzberger and her husband Brent, Joseph A Lemoine and his wife Sothari, Rebecca DeNardo and her husband Marco, Samuel Gay, Sabrina Romano, Iva Scoble Kurki and her husband Zachary, Corey Fournier and his wife Kayla, and James Gay, her great grandchildren Larissa, Sophia, Mason, Jason, Noah, Chase, Cody, Arcangela, Gianna, Francesca and Maria, several nephews and a niece, and extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son Thomas Lemoine, her brothers Aldo and Angelo Pellin, and her daughter-in-law Gale Lemoine.
A calling hour will be on Friday January 26, 2024 from 8:00am – 9:00am at Colonial Forastiere Funeral & Cremation, 985 Main St., Agawam MA. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 123 William St., Springfield. Burial at St. Michael’s Cemetery Springfield MA.
