Item description

Wooden sculpture-reliquary depicting a Saint identifiable with Saint Joseph, second half of the 18th century. Finely carved work, born lacquered and gilded; lacquer and gilding now visible only in some places (see photo). Object in beautiful patina, structurally solid with several small signs of time and some lacks (see photos of hands and base). It has an openable door on the back (see photo) with inner compartment that serves as a reliquary and was added over time.
