Phyllotreta vittula, the "Barley flea beetle" is a small (1.5-1.8mm) Leaf beetle (Chrysomelidae) in the subfamily Alticinae, all of which members are characterized by having powerful hind legs for jumping (hence often referred to as "Flea beetles").

Appearance

Like many species of Phyllotreta the elytra are black with two longitudinal pale marks.

Behavior
