Thank you Robert Erdmann from Holyvolt for giving an inspiring guest lecture in my course “Strategic Management” in the Bachelor in Business Administration at the University of St.Gallen. Our students gained unique insights into how managers can drive low-carbon innovation & digital transformation from… … inside large organizations … as a founder/employee of a start-up. We are excited to hear more about your new endeavor with Holyvolt – providing high efficiency renewable energy solutions, at affordable costs, and with minimal environmental impact – in the very near future. Innovate UK’s Global Business Innovation Programme helps businesses explore collaborative innovation and growth opportunities that exist in overseas markets. This fully-funded GBIP is focussed on Clean Growth and includes a five-day in-market visit to Denver in April 2024. Colorado is one of the most centrally located areas of the United States and is a national leader in adopting clean energy technologies. The state has one of the highest per capita concentrations of federal science, research, and engineering facilities in the US, including NREL. It was also the first state in the US to pass a voter-approved renewable energy standard, which requires that all investor-owned utilities acquire 30% of their electricity from renewable sources. This major shift towards sustainable energy by both the legislature and the voting public demonstrates Colorado's commitment to clean, renewable energy. Applications are invited from innovative companies who could be developing technologies across a broad range of clean growth sectors including: AgriTech (Aquaculture, Crops, Food & Food Systems) Carbon Capture and Utilisation Energy Efficiency (Advanced Manufacturing, Smart Buildings) Energy Storage Energy Systems Integration (Energy Security & Resilience, Grid Modernisation, Integrated Energy Solutions) Low Carbon Materials (steel, aluminium and concrete) Renewables (Geothermal, Solar, Water, Wind) Sustainable Transport (Aviation, Bioenergy, Hydrogen & Fuel Cells, Electric Vehicles & Charging, Freight) Waste (Packaging, Plastics, Recycling, Waste to Energy) The deadline for applications is 17:00, Friday 29th September 2023 https://lnkd.in/eR7nbtuR

“I grew up in Salinas, California, which is an agricultural town, and my parents worked for the farmer community. I’ve seen how many enjoy the benefits of traditional energy, but only some communities carry the burdens. I was compelled to figure out a way to make a difference and felt that innovation was needed.” - Mateo Jaramillo Read AP News' Q&A with our CEO, Mateo Jaramillo, to learn more about Form Energy and our team’s progress towards delivering on our mission of building multi-day energy storage systems for a better world: https://lnkd.in/gvHYH3XP
