Out-of-the-box exploration of mid-long-term threats: Quite insightful !

I think it is more complex than just regular military forces, Gaza is a small area of 360 km2 but with almost 2 million people, doctrinally entering an urban area militarily is about 10/1. Complicated in a dense area with tunnels, bunkers with a great mix of civilians with militias who have lived their entire lives between tensions, conflicts, successes and failures. This unaccountable violence has new concepts in its forms, the spirit has been to make vulnerability noticeable, create chaos, hold hostages. This causes others to launch the attack, there is no longer deterrence, uncertainty is created, the "how" to counteract at the four levels (Political/Strategic, Strategic/Military, Operational and Tactical) is complicated, with surgical military operations by the consequences that they can have at all levels and dimensions.

Korean Armistice, 1953 The Korean War degenerated into a stalemate along the 38th Parallel by 1953. Combat resembled the trench warfare of the Great War, with patrols, raids, and small-scale attacks and counterattacks. The US Eight Army fought against Chinese and North Korean forces over limited territorial objectives, such as “Old Baldy” (Hill 266) and “Pork Chop Hill.” At the same time, President Eisenhower and Secretary of State Dulles attempted to speed up negotiations in Panmunjom by intensifying aerial and naval bombardments against North Korean cities and infrastructure. Threats of an American nuclear attack against North Korea also loomed over the armistice discussions. Prisoner exchanges took place in the spring and summer of 1953 with Operations Little Switch and Big Switch. The US, UN, China, and North Korea finally signed an armistice on 27 July 1953. Article III arranged for the repatriation of all prisoners of war within sixty days. At the insistence of the US, this decree did not apply to North Korean and Chinese prisoners who did not want to return to their home countries.
