Why is our Brand Kuno a smart and sustainable alternative? Large plastic packaging and cumbersome dosing are a thing of the past. Today, good detergent can be easy and handy to dispense. We show this very clearly with Kuno. We are happy to do without phosphates, parabens, bleaching agents and colorants. We also eliminate unnecessary fillers. Conventional liquid detergents can consist of up to 90 % water. We concentrate exclusively on the ingredients that are really important for good washing power. This makes Kuno a smart and sustainable alternative!

In the early days of #parachute , a Marico Limited owned brand was sold in Tins. As the opportunities to innovate with coconut oil were limited, Harsh Mariwala (Chairman Marico) decided to innovate in packaging. The marketing team then undertook consumer research which found that the buyer would definitely prefer plastic to tins where they would no longer have to struggle with puncturing a hole in the tin or cut open a foil. However this change was not well accepted by the distributors and retailers due to their bad experience of stocking plastic bottles of coconut oil from another company. The square bottles had leaked attracting dust and dirt and even the aroma of coconut oil attracted rats. The rats gnawed through the bottle corners, puncturing the plastic, causing leakage of coconut oil and damaging other products as well. Hence no distributor or retailer wanted to repeat this unmitigated disaster. Yet persistent Harsh was not ready to give up and conducted a study in the earlier team’s efforts with plastic bottles. The study proved that the failure of plastic bottles lay in their shapes. Square!! The rats would easily bite off the corners and that led to the solution : Rounded containers that the rodents could not get hold of to bite. And that’s how great brands are built and remain great. Today, Marico owns 25% market share in the 8000 Cr. market and continues to focus on new product & market development for sustained growth. #marketing #experience #growth #opportunities #packaging #brand

First Chocolate Bars in Germany with 100% Paper Packaging 🍫 🙌 The close collaboration with nucao, a Leipzig-based chocolate manufacturer is paying off: nucao chocolate bars will be packaged exclusively in paper with immediate effect. Our flexible packaging paper “Koehler NexPlus® Advanced”, which has excellent oxygen, mineral oil, and grease barrier properties is not only suitable for packaging of chocolate-coated fruit products. The 100 percent recyclable paper is suitable for vertical packaging machines and now also for processing on horizontal packaging machines. From a technical point of view, this is revolutionary as horizontal packaging machines have a very high production speed. Paper needs excellent strength properties to be processed in this way, without being too thick for the machines to handle it. #koehlerpaper #paperforthefuture #innovation #replaceplastic #sustainability #circulareconomy #future #change

♻️ The largest deposit return system on the globe.💡 Romania has one of the lowest recycling rates for packaging in all of Europe - until now. The country has joined the ranks of European countries implementing deposit return systems (DRS) for single-use beverage packaging, becoming the 14th nation to adopt this eco-friendly initiative. ➡️ With nearly 80,000 collection points, Romania's DRS, operated by RetuRO, is poised to become the largest of its kind globally. This move aims to tackle Romania's low recycling rates with RetuRO spearheading efforts to manage around seven billion beverage containers annually. ♻️ Under the new system businesses involved in beverage production, import, or sales are mandated to participate, covering containers made of glass, plastic, or metal ranging from 0.1 to three litres. Each bottle carries a deposit of approximately ten cents, incentivizing consumers to return them for recycling. Sensoneo, a Slovakian tech firm, provides the IT backbone for Romania's DRS, enabling seamless integration and data collection throughout the recycling process. Despite facing various challenges, including logistical complexities and security measures, RetuRO's IT Director, Cristian Mihai, underscores the successful implementation of this ambitious system within a short timeframe. Overall, Romania's ambitious DRS aims to revolutionize beverage packaging recycling, setting a benchmark for comprehensive, integrated systems worldwide! 🙌 👉 Read more in our Tigthly Packed article: 🇬🇧 https://bit.ly/4csGg1i 🇩🇪 https://bit.ly/3Tt1Zh3 #tightlypacked #interpack2026 #circulareconomy #packagingsolutions #packagingexperts
