Excited to share the second part of Katy Brown's #InsideHighTech discussion with Mike Gaal! Mike leads Microsoft's Digital Natives business, which I have been a part of for the past 2+ years. I was especially excited to see the Yobi shout-out, after all of the great work we have done with Max Snow and team! Here are my key takeaways: - Microsoft's value prop with Digital Native customers is exemplified by our recent strategic partnerships with Yobi, Canary Speech, and Humane™ - Microsoft is differentiated with Digital Natives because we help customers develop, launch, go-to-market faster and more securely, especially with Azure OpenAI and Copilots for every Microsoft Cloud experience, including Github and Security - Microsoft Intentions with AI are Clear: we are building safe AI experiences and we want to use AI to empower everyone to do more (not to replace people). Per Scott Hanselman, "AI is more Iron Man [augmenting everyone's capabilities] as opposed to Terminator." Racha Diwan, Ken Miller, Kenny Schulman, Shaloo Garg
I am back with the second part of my #InsideHighTech discussion with Mike Gaal. This week, Mike and I delve into some great partnership examples with late-stage startups and digital natives, and the true impact we're driving with companies like Yobi, Canary Speech, and Humane™. We also chat about the AI platform shift and what it means for our customers in this space. Digital Natives are in a unique position to get out of the gate faster and maximize value out of this once-in-a-generation opportunity, and we could not be more thrilled to be powering this new wave of innovation. If you missed last week's episode, be sure to check it out in the comments below. Thanks for tuning in!

GenAI is currently on everyone's lips. So I was all the more pleased to learn more about it at yesterday's GenAI Wednesday Munich event. Dr. Andre Retterath from Earlybird Venture Capital spoke about the history and impact of AI in general and specifically how GenAI helps making the right investment decisions. He also talked about how the startup Aleph Alpha recently managed to raise $500M in capital. Really impressive! Here are some of his predictions: 💰 GenAI will make it possible that we could see the first 1bn company with a single employee. 💭 Sooner or later, the average employee may no longer be needed because GenAI's work results already deliver 80-90% of the desired quality in many cases. 3️⃣ There's a high chance that we will see a three-day week in some areas in the future. 🔍 One of the biggest risks of a venture capital firm is NOT seeing a good investment opportunity. These are so-called "false negatives", which must and will be minimised at all costs by using GenAI. #GenAI #GenAIWednesday #earlybird #alephalpha
