Stephen is a chartered civil engineer with over 20 years international risk engineering experience gained through working for insurance and other financial services companies. Delighted to welcome Shereef Mounir to our loss adjusting team in North America. Based in Houston, Shereef joins from AON where he was a complex construction and energy claims consultant. Prior to that he spent over 20 years in industry working for engineering and construction organisations in the Middle East and USA. He is a Professional Engineer, Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter, Project Management Professional and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Today at 8am, a 7.4 magnitude earthquake struck Taiwan, 18km south of Hualien city and has been felt all over Taiwan and offshore islands. It is reported to be the strongest quake to hit the country since the 7.6 magnitude earthquake that damaged or destroyed 50,000 buildings and caused insured losses of around $800m in September 1999.   Our thoughts are with everyone affected.   In response, Integra has placed on standby an experienced team of adjusters and experts from across the Asia Pacific region who are available to offer assistance to local and reinsurance markets where required.
