WAVE, in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy and its ecosystem, will serve as a dynamic platform connecting stakeholders worldwide to amplify collective efforts. It will launch programs to raise awareness, establish a digital information hub, accelerate innovations, support scientific endeavors, and build partnerships to combat pollution and achieve environmental balance in oceans. As Princess Reema emphasized, "Oceans play a crucial role in the lives, health, and well-being of humanity, impacting the global economy. Greetings from Helsinki, Finland! 🇫🇮 As part of the MITACS Entrepreneur International program (Mitacs) we are exploring the Urban Tech Helsinki incubator to better understand the key drivers behind Finland’s thriving cleantech ecosystem. Our goal? To understand the key drivers behind this green revolution and integrate these practices and knowledge into our initiative at GRNshift. 🔑 Here’s a glimpse of our key discoveries to date: 1️⃣ Integrated Lifestyle: In Finland, sustainability is more than a mere trend, it’s deeply integrated into the fabric of everyday life. This holistic approach to business incorporates a broad spectrum of stakeholders, reflecting the deep-seated cultural commitment to environmental stewardship. 2️⃣ Data Driven Innovation: Underlying the thriving cleantech ecosystem there is a synergy of data-driven research and development, seamlessly bridged between governmental bodies and non-governmental organizations. ✴️ ✴️ So far, our visit to Helsinki has shown us that the solutions to combat climate change are not only within reach but are actively making a difference.
