Through our comprehensive program, participants acquire advanced tools and techniques for proactively monitoring, detecting and preventing criminal activity. By doing so, the Videntium.be team helps improve operational efficiency and by extension, public safety as well. Digital security awareness is more than just hardware and software. A security culture must be created, awareness must be learned, vulnerabilities must be mapped. If you don't know the risk, you can't assess the threat. This week I had the opportunity to introduce videntium.be to the network of BNI Chapter Sincfalia Knokke during their weekly meeting. This turned out to be a fantastic opportunity to share our passion for cybersecurity, OSINT and SOCMINT and forge valuable business relationships. The delicious breakfast preceded the super structured agenda in which we also had a seat; my cup of tea !   We would like to express our sincere thanks for this invitation and look forward to meeting you all again in the future. If you hear from me twice in one week then there is real news ! For the second year in a row, the Videntium.be team has been nominated for an OSPA (Outstanding Security Performance Award) . This year it is an edition that brings even more excitement than last year. This year we are nominated for no less than two categories!  The first nomination is for a wind farm security project in Taiwan in the "Outstanding Security Partnership" category. Where we are commended for successful security partnership with outstanding performance.  The second nomination is in the "Outstanding Security Training Initiative" category where we are recognized as an organization that has made a difference in improving security practices through training. Our training program has gained international attention because the demonstrable results address the skill gap in participants and provide immediate benefits in terms of improved performance. As slow as possible; as fast as needed! The beginning of the new academic year marks an important milestone for videntium.be . In keeping up with our long-standing tradition, we have embarked upon an intensive "field training" programme for our team members as we step into another stimulating and demanding academic year. This comprehensive training serves a dual purpose: it entails a rigorous evaluation of our existing equipment and simultaneously facilitates the familiarization process with newly acquired tools and materials. We firmly subscribe to the ethos of #trainasyoufight. This season, the "Land Rover Defender Experience" took center stage, an adventure that left us exhilarated and gave us the confidence totake on any challenge that may cross our path. It underscores the essence of having absolute mastery and faith in our resources. Much like the academic arena, we anticipate encountering obstacles along our journey. However, we are resolutely equipped with the essential attributes of teamwork and adept problem-solving skills to surmount them. Our collaborative efforts in tackling a myriad of tasks during this training have fortified our camaraderie and nurtured a robust support network, poised to guide us through the forthcoming academic trials ahead. This collective effort embodies the spirit of the #team. As we approach the end of the academic year, it's a perfect time to reflect on the journey we've been on at #Videntium.be ! This year was filled with growth, accomplishments and countless moments of inspiration. Today, I would like to express my sincere appreciation to our exceptional team and the more than 500 dedicated participants in our various projects who have made this year truly remarkable. 🌟 For the operational team however another busy period is already approaching with major event monioring operations. The last few days have shown just what part social media plays in influencing one's thoughts and actions. This increasingly strong trend was one of the reasons for videntium.be to launch a new, hyper up-to-date, series of classes for first-line defenders. During these sessions, they are trained in gathering, analysing and interpreting relevant, time-sensitive and essential information to dectect both criminal activities and changing public opinions. Identification and localisation of individuals, noticing patterns and trends are the direct result and have an immediate effect on tactical decisions. This lesson series should lead to the development of new insights to avoid undesirable outcomes (threats), or take advantage of fleeting opportunities to achieve desired outcomes.
