PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General, Philadelphia Gun Violence Task Force is attempting to locate a wanted fugitive.

Andre Bailey, age 43, has been wanted on multiple arrest warrants since June 23, 2021, for charges including Fleeing and Eluding Law Enforcement, Aggravated Assault, Simple Assault, Theft, and numerous additional crimes.

The Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General alleges that within the last year, Bailey fled from at least three separate traffic stop incidents in Philadelphia. In all three of the fleeing and eluding incidents, it is believed that he was armed with firearms. Bailey is a convicted felon and is not legally allowed to possess firearms.

After a brief interaction with the police officer, Bailey fled a recent traffic stop. The police officer was able to locate both of Bailey’s known vehicles unoccupied on the 500 block of Armstrong Street, Philadelphia. A subsequent search warrant on both vehicles yielded four firearms, a bulletproof vest, and a significant amount of ammunition. The firearm that the police officer observed during the traffic stop was not recovered.

Bailey is believed to be homeless. If you see or know the whereabouts of Andre Bailey, contact the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General, at (215) 360-2629 or anonymously contact the Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers Toll Free at 1-800-4PA-TIPS (8477).
