Like her famous pappy, Hayley Hasselhoff is huge in Germany.

The buxom daughter of pop culture icon David Hasselhoff is celebrating the fact she’s the first “curve model” to be featured on the cover of Playboy magazine’s German edition.

The 28-year-old actress and model revealed the sultry cover visuals — shot by legendary fashion photographer Ellen Von Unwerth — on Instagram, writing how she is “overcome with emotion around what this cover signifies for inclusivity and its greater purpose toward female empowerment.”

The term “curve model” was recently adopted by the fashion industry as a more body-positive descriptive than “plus-size” and “full-figured.”

“I wanted to use this platform to express that you have the power to love your body without hesitation because of societies’ standards of beauty,” she wrote in the extensive caption.

Although Hasselhoff is the first curve model to cover a European edition of the legendary men’s magazine, Fluvia Lacerda became the first plus-size model to grab the cover spot of any Playboy magazine in 2016, for Playboy Brazil.

She was followed In 2017 by Molly Constable as the first plus model to be prominently featured in the American version Playboy. In 2019, pop superstar Lizzo bared her assets in fishnets, lingerie, fabulous hair and over-the-top diamonds for the magazine.

Hasselhoff’s post also expressed that while her body type used to get her down, the photo shoot sends a strong message for May’s Mental Health Awareness month.

“I feel empowered to be able to wake up and know that I get to live unapologetically myself…” the Los Angeles native, whose mother is actress Pamela Bach, noted.

She said she hopes others will be inspired “to face their fears of the unknown and to lead a life of purpose in which your body does not define you.”

“If there is one thing I would tell my younger self it would be that you are worthy just as you are…I can only hope this cover will allow women to know that they are loved, valued and desired just as they are — right here, right now.”
