Daniel Denys


Mr. Daniel Denys is a principal of Austin Meade and primarily provides consulting and financial advisory services to local governments in Illinois. Before forming Austin Meade, Mr. Denys was the head of the Public Finance Division of The Northern Trust Company. Prior to joining Northern, Mr. Denys managed the Chicago practice for David M. Griffith and Associates providing debt financial analysis, cost recovery studies, and general consulting to local governments. Mr. Denys started his career with KPMG Peat Marwick where he served as Senior Manager in the government services practice as well as working with commercial and finance companies.

Austin Meade Financial specializes in providing creative financial solutions for its clients. This includes analyzing and devising solutions to pension funding shortfalls including the Pension Bond programs for the City of Berwyn and Village of Lyons. The goal is to address pension shortfalls at a reasonable cost to local governments.

Mr. Denys received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Valparaiso University. He received his Master in Management from the J. L. Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He has served on numerous professional, civic and not for profit boards and committees including West Suburban Mass Transit District, SciTech Interactive Museum in Aurora, and The Woods of Hobson Greene Homeowners Association.
