Spring 2024 should be his last semester of teaching. He is extremely chill because of it. The class is signed up to be in person but you basically can take the class online. He'll say on the first day everything is online. If you want to come in person, he lectures, but you'll finish the semester a month early if you keep up with him.

This class was tough! The class is open from Week 1 and is done at your own pace. Be ready to read and write as the entire course is graded on you disccusion posts and journal entries. Each discussion and journal is 500 words and a new chapter is due each week. Final exam is a essay on the topics covered in class. No issues with the professor.

The class was fairly easy and everything was online. But if you have any questions don't send an email because he never responds to them even after sending multiple emails.

regret taking this professor, not informative at all about exact times things are due, does not reply to emails probably doesn't even read them. Avoid this professor if you do not want constant journal entries and discussion post that have to be 500 words each there is no reason to have both when discussions show what you know, huge waste of time

He is a very sweet man, but he is not up to date-with technology. He won't respond to emails that are important and even the admin says they have problems getting ahold of him by email. This class is a lot of writing, but you can get through it without reading if you want. Again a very sweet man and he is a good professor minus the email problem.

He's not hard, only way he is hard is if ur a procrastinator. He makes everything available from day 1&ur responsible for turning it in before the last day of class. His instructions are different online vs his syllabus too&it was hard to get a hold of him for clarification. His work is easy though. if u dont mind a hands off professor, this is it.

Everything is posted online at the beginning of the semester, so it's at your own pace. His lectures are beneficial if you don't understand the material. Exams are online and you can take them whenever or wherever you want. The only issue is that I'm pretty sure he checks his email once in a blue moon and it's difficult to access him outside class.

So much discussion posts and journals. ALL semester students have tried to email him, and he ignores them. NO idea how long final essay is... however you will get full credit if you type 500 words per journal (9 units) and 500-word discussion posts with 2 responses. DO NOT PROCRASINATE!!

The whole semsters work is posted at once so it is a work at your own pace class. No lecture. Each week there is a discussion and a journal on a certain topic that you pick from the ones he has provided. No test, but a final paper. 500-word requirement for each. No one but him sees the journals.

Professor Cuvelier is a great Professor and he had all of the coursework posted online from the first day of the semester. There is no need to go to class because all the material is online and as long as you keep up with your work you will get an A. He is not a hard grader if you follow the rubric/ guidelines he has set up.

Im confused by all the bad reviews because I really enjoyed Dr. Cuvelier. There is a lot of writing involved however if you are at least attempting to use your brain and meet the word counts for the journals and discussions, you will get an A. He is not a difficult grader, you just have to give a true effort. Very nice guy and easy class.

One of the worst professors I've ever had. He never responded to my emails, ever, even though his office hours on his syllabus said "online daily". There is tons of course work and he grades tough, for example, 500 words are required for each discussion, even if I wrote 515, he would take off points saying I didn't write enough. DO NOT TAKE HIM!!

Prof. Cuvelier is a super nice guy, he's pretty old so it's hard to reach out to him outside of class. His lectures are boring. He's monotone and he reads off of slides but also goes on tangents sometimes on random topics. His class is an easy A and everything is on blackboard, so there's no reason to go class after the first couple classes.

The class is easy if you follow the word count and do the work you will easily pass. There is 14 discussions and 14 journals with a 500 word count each its easy to meet the word count if you use the textbook. The exams are easy and the test can be retaken unlimited times. No reason to not get a Easy A.

This class is a ton of writing for journals and discussion boards, but it is not difficult. No research paper. You have to self-pace or you will fall behind because the deadlines are the end of the semester. Tests are straight from the learning checks. He is strict about word counts on journals and discussion boards. Don't procrastinate.

9 Journal entries each 500+ words for full credit. 9 Discussion assignments each 1 point per 100 words with two responses. A final paper 1 point per 100 words, 1 point per concept, and 1 point per corrected analysis. A LOT OF WRITING!

I took the online class and I loved it! He lets you work at your own pace, so nothing is due until the very last day of the semester. 15 discussions, learning checks (quiz), and exams. All the answers from the learning checks come straight from the book and the answers to the exams are straight off of the learning checks. Take him if you can!

This professor is a fantastic person. He really wants his students to succeed. He is very accessible by email and respond within 48 Hours, sometimes earlier. He is extremely knowledgeable in this field and will help you as needed
