Paul is an amazing person and professor, no textbook is needed because it's all in the syllabus and he'll thoroughly explain and show you how to write the scripts and how to format them correctly, I could honestly not ask for a better professor. You do have a decent amount of writing for hw but you have more than enough time to do it. Ez grade

Paul is easily one of the best professors to take as he cares so heavily for all of his students, and is a class where you'll actually learn how to improve your work and yourself. He's very honest and overqualified for what he teaches and truly wants his students to be successful. A perfect course if you want more experience and quality feedback.

Professor Paul most remarkable quality is his credibility. His vast knowledge and expertise in communications and digital media are not only evident in the depth of his lectures but also in the real-world applications he seamlessly integrates into the curriculum. I have already taken 2 classes with Professor Paul and it has been amazing. He really is one of the best Professors I've ever had. The way he explains the class is very dynamic. RTV1000 is a lecture and quizzes class, while RTV2300 is a totally hands-on class so be prepared to write a lot of scripts. I really learned a lot from him.

Profesor Bouche is hands down the most inspirational profesor I have had in college or high school. He has been in the industry many years and not only has been successful on TV but also with online content creation and distribution. Totally recommend his clases. I have taken 2 with him. If you like new perspectives, new open-minded things about the world, culture, politics, and other neat ethical topics. This class is pretty good if you want to get a philosophy lesson and find new ethical arguments to pled your cases or to understand other's standpoints. He cares for his students even though it can be tough sometimes.

Great professor. He has a lot of experience in the areas he teaches. He recognizes quality work and also gives great feedback to achieve it. The projects were easy and fun. Classes were very organized and the homework was always clear. He was easy to reach as well as very nice and well-spoken. Would definitely take again!

Paul is the most inspiring teacher I have had in college. After several semesters of average classes I was considering switching majors. This class not only made me feel motivated to continue my studies in TV but showed a real life example of how with effort and perseverance I will be able to make a difference in the industry just like he does.

In broadcasting if you are late, give attitude, and do not turn in scripts, you get let go and would have a terrible reputation. His class teaches you what it is to be in the real world. Uses his experience as a teaching tool. If you care about your work and care to get better take his class. He pushes you to be the best.

I had him for Ethics and attendance is very necessary if you wish not to take the final exam. You have to keep your camera on for the whole class or he will kick you out the class. His quizzes are only 5 questions and is open book but the questions are very specific so beware. There no textbook needed he put it in the syllabus. Goodluck.

A fantastic thought-provoking class with Prof. Paul! He encouraged everyone in the class to participate and the topics discussed were both relevant and engaging. Workload was doable. Be prepared to speak in front of the classroom. Attendance is mandatory and a huge part of your grade. Also be aware: Paul has a friendly but polarizing personality.

I have taken two courses with Paul so far (RTV1000 and RTV2300) and I enjoyed them both. His syllabus is very straightforward and he is always respectful to his students. Despite how much reading and writing you'll have to do, you'll learn a lot about broadcasting and specific writing formats.

Amazing professor! Will make sure you understand the assignment and will provide examples and feedback. Has great stories from his profession and understands students very well. As a professor should, he does push you to elevate your creativity and professionalism up to industry standards. Love hearing his stories and jokes. Syllabus is very clear!

Paul is a great professor! I have taken two courses with him. Both courses were very straight forward with ONE project due each week! YES ONE! The projects are useful for your career as practice makes perfect as each week goes by! Attendence is MANDATORY!

Paul is a professor like no other! Incredibly open and friendly. Paul brings levity and charm to any subject matter. I always leave class feeling inspired. I had the pleasure of taking two of his classes and he's the BEST!

Fair and understanding

Only take this class if you plan for nothing to happen in your personal life. AT ALL. If you miss more than 30 minutes of any class for any reason, he will count it as an absence. More than 2 absences brings down your grade. He does not even care if it is for religious purposes, which violates Florida law and college policy. DO NOT TAKE THIS PROF!

You have to go to his class attendance is mandatory he actually drops you if you miss 2 classes have perfect attendance dont have to take final exam you will have an assignment EVERY WEEK will talk from start of class til finish

Paul was a great Professor! While it can be a lot of work as the semester goes on, Paul is very understanding and isn't a hard grader. Show up to every class and try your best and you will do great!
