The Maestro Dobel 50® Anniversary Series was created to celebrate the 50th anniversary of our founder, Juan Dobel, by presenting a tequila that enhances what it means to be a Maestro Tequilero with the greatest virtue: that of sharing. Each year, Dobel will produce a limited edition to honor 50th celebrations including birthdays, anniversaries, and milestones.
Dobel 50® 1969 is an exceptional edition that integrates our finest tequilas aged in American and French white oak barrels and finished in Sauternes barrels. This Extra Añejo tequila is a silky smooth liquid, crafted from 100% blue agave sourced from a family-owned, single estate in the volcanic lowlands of Tequila, Mexico. The artisanal process includes slow-cooking, slow double-distillation and a unique refinement process. This compelling spirit heightens the senses, from its marriage of caramel, honey, agave and dried fruit aroma, to its voluminously rich taste and long finish.
Product Type | Tequila |
Style | Extra Añejo |
ABV | 40% |
Dietary | Gluten Free |
Country | Mexico |
Dark amber with coppery and golden tints, that show its encounter with wood; with bright flashes on the edge and a subtle olive hue that result from us its long maturation process.
Of great aromatic intensity, the fruity notes of peach, ripe red apples, prunes and bananas combine and balance perfectly with notes of toasted wood, walnut, caramel, butter, and honey. Thanks to the careful cooking of the agaves in our masonry ovens, this tequila is surrounded by aromas of white flowers, hazelnuts and toasted coffee beans that give it a unique personality.
A sweet palate with notes of bread, strudel, and apple pie. Soft, silky and velvety.
Well-structured and complex body gives a pleasant feeling of warmth that ends with a very long finish.
