NuMex Twilight - A beautiful, eye-catching pepper plant producing a beautiful array of bright purple fruits that ripen to yellow, orange, then red. It creates a colorful display through the summer months and will make a great statement in your landscape when multiple plants are grouped together. Small 2”-4“ upright fruits start off purple, go to yellow, orange, and lastly red. All four colors appear on the plant at the same time. Mostly grown as an ornamental and makes a great patio plant. Can you eat NuMex Twilight Peppers?
Hint: yes, you can!
~ Packet contains 10 seeds.
In early spring, start seeds indoors 8 weeks prior to warm nightly temperatures. Place the seeds in sterile media and cover 1/4” deep. Provide 85°F bottom heat, bright light and keep moist at all times. Seeds will germinate in 7 - 21 days. Transplant seedlings into pots and grow until there are 6 true leaves on the plant. Plant them directly into rich soil, 20" apart for a hedge look or into large patio containers.

I can't believe how pretty these plants were! And loaded with peppers. At the end of the season we dried them and used them for hot pepper flakes. These have that magic combination of beauty and function. We'll grow these every year!
Oh my! These are, indeed, the prettiest of all peppers! I grew them in pots and they looked like a rainbow all summer long, starting out a gorgeous purple then ripening individually to yellow, orange and red... quite beautiful and prolific. Bonus: they are now made into hot sauce. I'll grow these every year in my patio pots, they are very ornamental.
