Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome (PRRS) can have a devastating impact on pig performance, overall production, and profits. Ingelvac® PRRS MLV is a vaccine for swine that aids in the reduction of reproductive disease and aids in the prevention of respiratory disease in pigs caused by PRRS virus. Studies have found this leading swine vaccine to be safe and effective against both respiratory and reproductive disease in pigs caused by PRRS virus.
This modified life virus vaccine requires reconstitution with the included sterile diluent prior to administration. It is safe for use in healthy swine 3 weeks of age and older, including gilts, sows and boars. Vaccination with Ingelvac® PRRS MLV may occur at any stage of production (including pregnancy) and provides at least 4 months of immunity for vaccinated pigs. Recommended for use in PRRS positive herds only. Administer intramuscularly. Do not use in breeding boars. Do not vaccinate pigs within 21 days of slaughter.
