Don's Obituary
Steppe, Donald Joseph, 80, of St. Louis, Missouri died August 1st. He was born in DuBois, PA on September 25, 1942 to the late Joseph and Veronica Stepanausky.
Don graduated from Penn State University, where he played football and basketball, with an Industrial Engineering degree and was a member of the Delta Upsilon Fraternity. He received his MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. Most of his career was spent in metal manufacturing. He was an avid follower of Penn State and the Pittsburgh Steelers, a voracious reader, and the number one fan of Slugger, Scrunchy, Thumper, and Scooter.
He is survived by his wife, of 57 years, Demmy Ginople Steppe, son, Michael S. Steppe (Terri) of Spring Lake Heights, NJ; daughter Jennie Knisley (Shawn) St. Louis, MO; grandchildren, Michael and Casey Steppe, James and Benjamin Knisley, Michael and Courtney Bennett.
