French painter Bernard Collet is the product of a classical education at the Académie Julian and the Beaux-Arts Academy in Paris. He draws much of his inspiration from the 'Grand Masters' of classical and modern painting. His work is grounded by a focus upon nature and history, giving these themes a unique expressiveness with his use of vibrant colors and non-traditional materials.
