Delphinus, The Dolphin

Delphinus, the Dolphin, is a mythical sea creature who rescued the singing poet Arion from certain doom by responding to his distress song on his way to the ancient city of Corinth. While one of the smaller constellations, Delphinus distinctly resembles its namesake.

This constellation is relatively faint and better viewed from dark skies, though its distinctive pattern helps it stand out in urban skies.
