I am a Clinical Social Worker, licensed to practice in DC, Maryland and Virginia.  I have broad experience working with adults who are dealing with depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, tensions in their close relationships or with family of origin.

I provide you with a safe place where you will feel heard and supported and can identify clearly the issues you want to address so that you can start resolving what causes you pain and conflict.   I am committed to work hard with you to understand who you are, where you are in your life, and how you want to move forward.

My special interest is supporting people going through major life transitions, such as: starting a new career, graduating college, moving to a new city or country (expatriates), parenthood, pregnancy, and now how to adjust to the COVID pandemic.

Before becoming a therapist I worked for many years as the World Bank Liaison at the Netherlands Embassy in Washington DC.  I am fluent in English, Dutch and Russian.
