Can FSU softball win the Women's College World Series? Here are experts' predictions

The Florida State softball team is one of seven teams in the Women's College World Series facing the same difficult question: Can Oklahoma be stopped?

The Sooners come into Oklahoma City as back-to-back national champions, the first of those titles coming at the hands of the Seminoles in 2021. They are once again the heavy favorites after going 55-1 this season.

No. 3 FSU (55-9) is the next highest seed left in the NCAA softball tournament and would face OU in the championship series. First, however, the Seminoles must survive a bracket that includes No. 6 Oklahoma State, No. 7 Washington and No. 15 Utah. They also must contend with No. 4 Tennessee, No. 5 Alabama and No. 9 Stanford.
