Description
Organizational charts and job descriptions are a vital piece of the business management puzzle to ensure that all employees know and understand their role and who they report to.
To help students connect with the concept of organizational charts and management structures, students are tasked with overhauling the management structure of the school store! In this project, students will create a new organizational chart and new job titles & role descriptions to staff of their school store.

Entire activity is editable to fit your class needs, and detailed student activity instructions (with helpful hints) are included with the project. Project requires little to no prep, and could easily align with the content taught in most Introduction to Business, Management, and Entrepreneurship courses.
This project would take my students about 2 to 2 1/2 days to fully complete on a 90 minute block schedule. Depending on your class time and the level of your students, it may take more or less time to complete.
