Descubre 3 Lección 7 4-In-A-Row game: La tecnología y la ciencia
- PDF
Description
This NO PREP game is a fun and interactive way to practice vocabulary from Descubre 3 Lección 7. The grid has 49 boxes total. Two versions of this game are included, making it easy to differentiate for students who need more of a challenge.
Additional materials needed: bingo markers in several colors or something to function as markers in several colors.
The goal of this game is to take 4 boxes in a row: vertically, horizontally or diagonally. Students can play in groups of 2-3.
In order to win a box, the player needs to give the Spanish definition of the English word or give the Spanish word for the image. In the second (and easier) version, all the words on the board are in Spanish and students need to give the English translation in order to win a box.
Players take turns with play continuing until one person has won 4 boxes in a row.
Unlike a true Connect 4 game, in this version a marker can be placed anywhere on the board.
Players need to try to get 4 in a row while simultaneously blocking their opponent from doing the same.
