Description

PowerPoint Presentation related to IGCSE Business Studies Unit 5.4: Statement of Financial Position, also known as Balance Sheet.

The presentation is perfectly aligned with IGCSE Business Studies (0450) Syllabus, which is publicly available at the official IGCSE website or as freebie in my store.

It is divided into three equal sections, each of which serves one (up to) 90-minute-long teaching block. Last section is meant for practising calculations and modifications to the balance sheet. Such division aims to reflect recommended allocation of classes according to the IGCSE syllabus.

Presentation is highly interactive with built-in questions to check students' understanding or develop critical thinking and other soft skills. It contains a lot of pictures and diagrams to connect the concepts with real business environment. It is best displayed as a slide show, because exciting animations with images sometimes cover the text which is not relevant to certain notes.

Each section starts with objectives, followed by captivating review questions and "Do Now" tasks, which are provided on the second slide.

Last slide of each section includes suggested activities to review the knowledge and apply business thinking skills. While some of them are ready-to-use, most of them refer to the case studies or activities in the textbook that has been used as a base when preparing the presentation, see below:
