Description

Passing the ball in football is important but many times field goals help win the game! In this set of games your students will have a great time practicing their "rhythm kicking" all the while you can make formative and summative assessments from the PDF and worksheets included in this file.

To play, you simply click on a football in the PDF files. The students will then read the rhythmic pattern hiding behind the football. If they read it correctly, then you can see the ball as it goes through the goal post. Additionally, 6 worksheets have been included that can be used with the PDF files or on their own that practice notation, dictation and composition (written in stick notation with and without note heads).

Two interactive PDFs are included: one written in stick notation with note heads and one written in stick notation without note heads.

Rhythms practiced in this file:
ta ti-ti (quarter note and barred eighth notes
rest (quarter rest)
Half note
tika-tika (four barred sixteenth notes)
ti-tika (one eighth-two sixteenth notes)
tika-ti (two sixteenth-one eighth note)
