Vacances à la mer, creative writing & speaking activity in French, passé composé

Engage your students with this creative visually-appealing writing activity. Students are invited to write about their past (real or imaginary) summer vacation by the sea. This activity is ideal for students who have already learned le passé composé.

This activity has 3 parts.

Part 1 is a pre-writing activity that will allow students to brainstorm some ideas in writing. Students will have to write down words and expressions guided by questions "Où? Quand? Avec qui? Quoi?".

Part 2 is a writing activity that will allow students to write cohesive paragraphs about their summer vacation using words and expressions from the pre-writing activity.

Part 3 is speaking activity that will allow students to ask and answer questions about their summer vacation with a partner.
