Is this Devonian fossil Syringopora?

A friend of mine found this fossil on South Point of Thunder Bay near Alpena, Michigan. The fossils here are from the Devonian Period. My best guess is that it's syringopora. Any identification help is appreciated. Thanks!

I think this is actually a branching rugose coral. The centers would be a rather fragile dissepiment.

I agree it's  colonial rugose coral, showing clear radiating septa. Syringopora usually only shows funnel shaped tabulae in the centre. (Rugose dissepiments are towards the outside, away from the centre. )

Sun of a gun. Tabulae in the center of rugose corals. I've had that screwy for a while I guess.

Thanks for the help. I didn't realize you were going to be looking so closely. I took a few more close ups. My son in law is a geologist and just got here for the weekend from out of town. He's not a fossil expert, but knows more than I do. We just spent some time looking at this fossil and looking for pictures of colonial rugose corals. I didn't realize rugose corals could be in colonies.

I still think tabulae look like dissepiment with a better sense of focus.  That's them there.
