The S.N.A.P.™ MidiPrep Kit is a medium-scale plasmid DNA purification kit designed for fast and easy purification of pure plasmid DNA from 10-100 ml of overnight culture (Figure 1). The S.N.A.P.™ MidiPrep procedure takes just 40 minutes. You simply:

• Lyse cells and filter debris with the S.N.A.P.™ filtering column
• Apply flow-through to the S.N.A.P.™ DNA binding column
• Wash the column
• Elute pure, supercoiled plasmid DNA in water or TE buffer

Plasmid DNA purified with the S.N.A.P.™ MidiPrep Kit is ready to use right off the column. No precipitation is necessary. Plasmid is eluted in TE or water at ∼200 ng/μl-perfect for subsequent applications including mammalian cell transfection. Typical yields are shown in Table 1.

Contents & Storage

Store the S.N.A.P.™ MidiPrep filtering columns, S.N.A.P.™ MidiPrep DNA binding columns, lysis buffer, binding buffer, wash buffer, and 4X final wash at room temperature. Store the resuspension buffer, precipitation salt, and RNase A at +4°C. All reagents are guaranteed stable for 6 months when properly stored.
