Aoshima 1:72 Legioss Armo Fighter - Work in Progress

This is my work in progress of the Aoshima 1:72 Legioss kit. For those unfamiliar with it, this thing appeared in the third season of Robotech, which was a westernized alteration of the anime, Genesis Climber Mospeada.

Here is what it looks like assembled. I modified a few things such as the cockpit interior, but it's mostly OOB.

Here are all the sub-assemblies with their main colors applied.

The pilot needed a bit of attention to avoid looking like a soft blob.

With the decals on, it's starting to look a bit more like the animation and box art.

Next up will be a panel wash and maybe some light weathering.

In case you were wondering, the green Soldier is a kit in the same scale from a manufacturer called Wave Corporation.

Beautiful. There are too few of these out there. Especially the more obscure variants and the big "Tread" rear unit.
