Serica 4512 California - Should I buy it?
Update - He is asking for $700-$750CAD. Should I still proceed?
Does anyone know much about this watch? I have a co-worker who is looking to sell. He hasn’t listed a price yet but I’m interested as I think the watch looks great. It’s in great condition.
I don’t know much about the brand or the movement though. Is it good? Anything to be weary of?
Any insight would be much appreciated.

Great watches with a distinct design language. This could easily be your only watch. It’s COSC certified ans as versatile as they come.
I wouldn’t think twice, especially if you get a decent price :)

I’m not sure that the 4512 is a chronometer. I think I may have read that but 🤷
I have one and I have had mixed feelings about it so far. It’s not a bad watch, but I guess I’m just more satisfied with one I already have. The choice to not lume the hour numerals is odd and limits readability in the dark. And i think Serica overcharges for the bracele. I wouldn’t pay full price for this watch.
It’s very comfortable, using the crown feels great, the hour hand is very readable, and the dial is very clean.
