Virion pov:
As I walked through the portal back into the dining room, I felt a sudden sense of comfort wash over me. I thought it was because I was back home but Rimuru disagreed and said "It's because of the mana density, here it's dense and in your elemental type, while in the relictombs it's thin, so thin than you couldn't even properly use magic without being at least light-yellow stage."
I understood what she meant and since it was evening, I walked towards the garden where I saw Arthur and my granddaughter leaning on eachother while looking at the lake which was decorated with pink and white leafs.
There were also some lily's floating on top of the water with the occasional frog jumping from one to another lily.
My granddaughter was sleeping on Arthur's shoulder, while Arthur was just looking at the lake like he was reminiscing about something.
I walked up to my future son-in-law while saying 
"The lake is beautiful this time of day isn't it?"
He looked a little caught off guard as he said
"Yeah, it's beautiful, I've never such scenery before."
I looked at him with an analyzing look and just shrugged my shoulders.
This child is way too mature for his age, almost makes me think he had a past life, but that would be impossible or would it?
It's none of my business anyway, even if he did have a past life, I would gladly accept him as my disciple again.
"Isn't it possible to just stay this way for the rest of my life?" Whispered Arthur, more to himself than to me, but I still heard him clearly.
"No, if everything stayed as it is now, than there would never be a chance for us to move forward, progress is the only reason we truly live, right?
Or do we live because we want to enjoy one moment for the rest of our life." I asked him.
His eyes shone with a new fire and replied "Than I will make sure that all those memories are happy ones."
I smiled and rubbed his head, I then walked away and just retired to my chambers for the day.

Arthur pov:
Virion walked away just now and I'm still sitting here with Tess leaning on my shoulder while sleeping.
Virions words made me realize that I can't just enjoy the current world, I need to create a future where both me and Tess could happily live together for the rest of our lives, no matter how long that light take.
I'm also starting to understand Rimuru's words and am staring to make up with my past self.
My core is currently at light-yellow with cracks and it seems that I have nothing to do, so I'll be refining my core until the morning.

The sun is coming up currently which means it's around 6 in the morning, I've managed to break through into initial silver and am slowly feeling my body change.
Seeing that Tess was still sleeping on my shoulder, I shook her a little which woke her up, she looked around and was puzzled until she saw the lake and panicked, "Have we been here the entire night?" "Yes, we've been here since last night after dinner."
She looked around before running towards her room and I followed suit, I ran towards my room where I lifted up my shirt before dropping my shirt to the ground, I moved around a bit to discover that white-golden scales were growing at the sides of my body running from my under arms towards my armpit going down all the way to my heels.
I also felt a little stub on the side of head behind my ears.
I met Rimuru and asked her "Do you know anything about the scales I'm growing?" Since she was with me and Sylvia while in the cave, I assumed she must have known something about it, I could also feel the progress in my beast will, this told me that it had something to do with it.
She looked at me and answered "Hmm, I see.
It seems Sylvia use another form of the vivium branch to copy her child's DNA and inserted it into your body through the beast will or in this case asuran will."
"So grandma Sylvia actually gave me her child's DNA?'
"Only a copy of it yes, the actual DNA or bloodline still resides within the egg. Do you already have a name in mind?"
"I want to call her Sylvie, in honor of Sylvia who raised me for almost half a year."
"Normally I wouldn't approve of such a name, but considering that that was the name Sylvia had in mind as well, it would seem it's fate for her to be called Sylvie."
"You already know what gender the egg is going to be?" 
"Yeah, Sylvia told me, she used another vivium art for that."
"You keep saying vivium like I'm supposed to know what it is, but what is it?"
"I'll explain that in an hour, you first need to get ready for training and while Tessia will be doing physical training, you will be doing beast will training, meanwhile I'll answer every question I can and teach you about something you'll need in the future." 
"Very well, but don't be late yourself."

(At the training grounds)
Rimuru asked "Is everyone ready?"
"Yeah, we're ready."
"Good, because you'll be going through torture Tessia, and Arthur you'll be doing progress with your beast will."
"Why does Art get to sit down while I do harsh training?" She looks cute while pouting.
"Because you don't have a beast will, if Arthur awakens his beats will today, then tomorrow he'll be training with you and if you get a beast will today, then tomorrow you'll join Arthur in awakening your beast will."
"So what do you wanna ask me?" Rimuru said.
"I want to know who you truly are, because you acted like you knew Sylvia for a long time now, even before you the twin horns and you weren't surprised when she called me Grey."
"Mmm, I'm the person who noticed your reincarnation and decided to follow." I was shocked to say the least.
"That doesn't explain who you are though, that just explains why you're here."
She stared at me before saying "My name is Rimuru Tempest, also known as the Chaos Creator."
This shook me more than the last answer and not because I heard of the title before, but to have a title that didn't exist in this world means she's not from this planet.
"Can I assume you're from another planet?"
"Yes, I guess that should be plenty about where I'm from."
"So what are you?"
"Would you believe me if I said I'm a dragon?"
She did show that dragon form, but it didn't feel completely compatible.
"No, you transformed into a dragon yeah, but who knows if you can't transform into something else?"
"I used to be a dragon at least, but I surpassed it, that's all you should know about that."
That explained a few things but not enough, for now let's ask about that vivium thing.
"What's that vivium thing you mentioned?"
"To explain that, I gotta give you a bigger explanation.
Let's start with aether.
Aether is an energy that makes up the building blocks of this world itself, if mana is water then aether is the glass. Understood so far?"
"Yes."
"Good, well aether splits up into four branches, but only three of them normally accessible, those four are: Aeuvum or time, Spatium or Space, --"
"The next one is vivium, right?"
"Correct, but what does vivium represent?"
"Time, space and ... Life?"
"Correct, the three branches are: Time, space and life."
"Then what about the fourth?" 
"The fourth is a branch that can't really be touched even if you've learned about it, you need a connection with aether itself as well as comprehend it before you can even see it.
The fourth branch is fate."
That is a shocker, if those four are the branches, what could they do? I mean I get the space and time, but what about life and fate?
"Don't think to much about it, I'll teach you in the future how to start, I can't help more than lay the foundation, aether isn't just something one can explain like that, teaching it is even less possible."
"Why?"
"Because using aether is different for everyone else and it's mainly your insights into the specific edicts that allow you to guide the aether into shape.
Take you for example, you have an affinity for vivium or life, the reason for this is the bloodline from Sylvie and your reincarnation."
"How does my reincarnation have anything to do with it?" 
"Because you died and came back to life through reincarnation, vivium is the life branch, so your reincarnation is connected to the vivium branch."
That explains a bit.
"But how do I know I have an affinity for a certain branch?"
"Well it's easy to show you the vivium branch, but the others not so much, you just have to be lucky."
"Can you show me the one of vivium?"
"Sure." She said before slicing off my arm.
"What did you do?" Panic definitely laced my voice as I looked at the stump which was now ... Moving?
"Just watch."
I did as she said and I felt barely any pain, within a minute my stump had been reshaped up to my elbow, now it's going further down and I can see.the bone regrow as well as every muscle fiber regrowing and reattaching itself.
Eventually my arm was back in perfect shape, it felt even lighter than before, why is that?
As if she could read my mind she said "It's because aether regrew your arm, this strengthened your arm and made your arm also more durable."
