Eana MENG

SMALL STEPS PROJECT DIRECTOR

Eana Meng is a Boston area native passionate about empowering patients, especially from historically marginalized communities, and to making holistic healthcare accessible, whether that is medication, therapy, acupuncture, or housing. She graduated from Harvard College in 2019 and received a MPhil from the University of Cambridge in 2020. Currently a MD-PhD student at Harvard Medical School and at the Department of History of Science, her research highlights the lesser-known histories of American civil rights activists, including those affiliated with the Black Panther Party, who utilized holistic healthcare practices and the legacies that emerge from them. She interned with Bernadette Lim, MD at the Freedom Community Clinic in Oakland, California and is so excited about launching the Small Steps Project to make holistic healthcare accessible to the Boston community. On the side, she is a lover of food, family, and friends!
