Marie Albert joined the Prospects Group in March 2023 as a Senior Economist, focusing on the Europe and Central Asia region. She contributes to the flagship Global Economic Prospects report. She has extensive experience in economic forecasting, surveillance, and providing economic policy advice. Prior to joining the World Bank, she was Advisor to the Executive Director for France at the IMF and the World Bank. Earlier, she worked in France as a Senior Economist for Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations, Head of country risk for Coface, and held several economist positions at the French Ministry of Economy and Finance. She holds a Master’s degree in International economic expertise from Paris Dauphine University.
