Atlantic County car owners may have received an unexpected parking ticket Sunday morning, but a closer look revealed that the violation was just a lack of laughs.
ACJokes.com, a team of East Coast comedians and producers, had slipped faux parking tickets on the windshields of cars around neighborhoods throughout the county Saturday night into Sunday morning.
It was all a joke in celebration of April Fool’s Day.
The “ticket” was actually a voucher for two free tickets to an upcoming comedy show hosted by the team and a chance to win an overnight stay at the Showboat for the person who posts the ticket online with #ACJOKESPRANK and receives the most likes.
This is not the first time local businesses and organizations have had fun with April 1.

Brewery owner said at the time he wanted to use the boat for his own aquatic brewery for the company. Krill said the fans commented on the brewery’s Facebook page saying how great the idea was.
